The World Energy Outlook (WEO) is published every year by the International Energy Agency (IEA) and provides authoritative analysis of trends in energy demand and supply, and what those mean for energy security, environmental protection and economic development.

The upcoming World Energy Outlook 2023 will include, for the first time, a special report dedicated to Latin America. As part of the report trajectory, the IEA is organising a high-level workshop on 16-17 March that brings together policymakers, industry representatives, experts and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities that Latin American countries face as they implement their energy and climate strategies.

GET.transform is proud to be a supporter of this exchange which will also have thematic linkages to the work of UN ECLAC‘s Regional Forum of Energy Planners (FOREPLEN).
