The Commission for Regional Energy Integration (Comisión de Integración Energética Regional, or CIER) has published two new reports to help enhance electricity planning and integration within the Mercosur and Andean regions. As a strategic partner to CIER, GET.transform contributed to this important work which seeks to further strengthen energy integration in the region.

For close to 60 years, CIER has brought together over 250 public and private electricity companies and institutions from 17 countries across Central and South America with the shared goal of effective regional electricity integration. The most recent CIER reports help foster integration through important overviews:

Together, these reports form a concise yet valuable resource to help identify potential opportunities for deeper cooperation and participation in regional energy integration across the Americas.

GET.transform is not only contributing to the technical foundation for collaboration in the region but also helping to ensure that these studies reach a broader audience, presenting them at major events such as the III Conference on Energy Integration (CIER) and OLADE’s 2025 Energy Week.

By supporting these forward-looking studies, GET.transform reaffirms CIER’s commitment to promoting sustainable and collaborative energy integration throughout the region.
