National Experience in Long-Term Energy Scenario Use and Development

On 16 November 2021, GET.transform will present challenges and best practices in long-term energy scenario development in IRENA’s 2nd Webinar Series on National Experience in Long-Term Energy Scenario Use and Development. GET.transform is a technical partner of IRENA’s Long-term Energy Scenarios (LTES) Network and will share findings from the experience of supporting partner countries to improve energy planning processes.

IRENA’s LTES Network provides a global platform to exchange knowledge and good practices in the use and development of model-based long-term energy scenarios to guide the clean energy transition. It aims to promote wider and more effective use of LTES in government for energy and climate policy-making.

Boosting knowledge exchange and peer connections, the LTES Network is hosting a series of dedicated webinars to introduce its newest members and their expert insights on strengthening scenario development, improving scenario use and enhancing institutional planning capacity.
