DG is the fastest growing renewable energy segment across the African continent. But how can regulators enable rapid growth in distributed generation while maintaining reliable and financially sustainable electricity systems?
African regulators will discuss their approaches to grid integration, technical standards, utility business models and tariff design. The event will provide practical lessons from countries participating in the Policy Catalyst Distributed Generation Window and insights to inform distributed generation regulation in other jurisdictions.
